IMPORTANT UPDATE:
The Woodland Hills School District will now shift to a Flexible Instruction Day for Thursday, January 16, 2025. All students should log in virtually and follow their typical daily schedule.

All afternoon and evening events and activities will continue as scheduled.

The Woodland Hills School District Board of Directors formally appointed Dr. Joe Maluchnik as the district's next Superintendent. Dr. Maluchnik's hiring was approved during a board meeting on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

The next edition of Woodland Hills Coffee Talk is on Monday, January 27. This is geared towards fourth and fifth grade families to help them prepare for the middle school experience at Dickson.

Due to extremely low expected temperatures in the morning, the Woodland Hills School District will operate on a two-hour delay, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Schools and buses will operate on a two-hour delay.

Due to expected inclement weather, the Woodland Hills School District is moving to a Flexible Instruction Day (FID) tomorrow, Monday, January 6, 2025. All students should log in virtually for instruction and follow their typical daily schedule.

Elementary and middle school robotics teams from around the region were at Woodland Hills High School on Friday, December 6 for the Woodland Hills Blended VIQRC Western PA Qualifying Tournament. The event is part of the national VEX IQ Robotics Competition and featured students in grades 3 through 8.

Due to anticipated low temperatures in the morning, the Woodland Hills School District will operate on a two hour delay for Thursday, December 5, 2024.

Join us for a fun and educational VEX Robotics K-8 STEAM Night at Rankin Community Center on Monday, November 18 from 6-8 pm. Students and families are welcome to attend! Learn about our elementary and middle school robotics programs and see how our students use the robot kits in their classrooms every day!

The next Coffee Talk, a program that enables parents of fourth and fifth graders to learn more about the experience at Dickson Preparatory STEAM Academy, will be on Monday, November 25 at 10 a.m. at Turtle Creek STEAM Academy. On October 30, our kindergartners forged a special bond with the seniors. The Class of 2025 met with the Class of 2037 on the field at the Wolvarena to launch a new tradition.
