With the new school year underway, the Woodland Hills School District would like to remind families of Pennsylvania’s immunization vaccination requirements. The start of every school year is a good time for every family to meet with their child’s health care provider and review their immunization records.

Woodland Hills families who would like to ensure their children have health insurance can sign up for Pennsylvania's Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

The Woodland Hills School District would like to warmly welcome Ms. Angela Evans as the new assistant principal at Edgewood Elementary STEAM Academy.

A Pittsburgh native, Ms. Evans is a graduate of Schenley High School and Duquesne University. She earned her master’s degree and principal certification from Point Park University. Before joining Woodland Hills, she spent 15 years in the Shaler Area School District, where she began her career as a music teacher before moving into school leadership.

Due to power outages throughout the district, the Woodland Hills School District will be operating on an asynchronous remote learning day for Grades 6 to 12 and canceling school completely for all elementary buildings on Friday, September 4.
